Reflections for Holy Week . . .

Turning the tables challenged the religious leaders of the day. Jesus’ words that the Temple was to be a ‘house of prayer for the people of all nations’ is a challenge for us today. They are a reminder that our faith is outward-looking and built on a concern for others, not rooted in outdated ritual and habit.

Prayer – Loving God, lift our eyes to see a world in need, and lay it before you in prayer. Amen
