Calendar Competition for 2023
For the last twenty years the Glens & Kirriemuir United Parish Church has produced a calendar which is sold in local shops and also via our website.
One of the reasons for our success is that we use photographs of the local area – Kirriemuir and the Angus Glens, making the calendar popular for sending all over the world.
For the 2023 calendar, we would again like to give all amateur photographers an opportunity to be included in the calendar.
We hope to have an exhibition of all entries in the church hall during the summer when you will be able to come and vote for your favourite images to be included next year.
If you would like to take part in the competition, open only to amateur photographers, there is a link to the entry form at the bottom of this page. – Entries are limited to six per person. The closing date is 1st April 2022.
Prints should be A4 and in landscape format. They should reflect the outstanding beauty of Kirriemuir and the Angus Glens in any season or mood but should be of an identifiable place. They should be printed on photographic paper.
All entries must include your name, address, telephone number and location of photo on the reverse. We would also appreciate an indication of which season your photograph represents.
Entries will not be returned but can be picked up from the church office following the competition.
Entries for the 2023 Calendar are now open and we look forward to receiving your wonderful pictures.
The closing date for entries is 1st April 2022
